I cannot resist her blue eyes getting all big and excited when she gets her bubble tea... actually is not even bubble tea.. is more like a tapioca tea.. whatever.. just love seeing her happy <3

Three hours in after I statarted my journey, I met a cool woman named Sam when I just arrived to Шаховка. Our encounter was pretty funny. Alas, it's well known that in times like these, one cannot trust anyone. I was on my way to find some food when I saw her. I knew that I needed to hide. My stomach hurt and wouldn't shup up for how hungry I was so, while I was hiding from her, she could hear my stomach growl for food. She looked so badass that I thought she would kill me. I barely had any energy since I had been starving for the past two days, so when she found me hiding I had no other option but to surrender immediately. I have a nervous laughter so I started to laugh thinking it would be my end... but for some reason she started to laugh too.. not in the same way.. she was kind of shy but anyway, she ended up offering me food. Suddenly the air felt light and a warm feeling filled the place.
She shared her food with me, so I shared my story with her. I cannot even remember the last time I had a "normal" conversation with someone....
She seemed very shy so I didn't insist on asking something about her but I could see she was excited to talk with someone too.. I asked her if she wanted to join me on my journey, something about her made me feel so.. safe... the thought of leaving and not seeing her again felt even more scary than encountering an infected....... she agreed to join me (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:・ﾟ" and gifted me a cool sombrero 🤠

We managed to advance a lot and had a great time in an amusement park in Старый Собор. During our trip she shared with me that she has lost everyone as well about 5 years ago.. She told me she doesn't have any motive and she's just a lone wanderer waiting for her death to come. She's from the country side and was a girl scout when little. She truly loves the forest and knows her way thru it. She didn't share a lot about her family, only that her dad was a hunter. She's not very talkative...
It was amazing to have someone like her around, she's just so brave!! I have never met anyone like her.. it was really a very unusual and special day.. I'm happy I won't be traveling alone anymore... For now, we will find some shelter.. our journey awaits.. ༒︎
